The Cozy Cub Cabin – 7 Min to Lake

We had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Cub Cabin in South Lake Tahoe. The cabin is perfectly situated in a cabin community with about 15 other cabins. We visited in mid-September and found the area to be very quiet.The cabin had everything you need, kitchen essentials and bath essentials. The cabin is charming and rustic. The main sleeping quarters consists of a queen bed and the room is a bit tight. The bed comfort is our only negative complaint. It was not very comfortable, however the linens and pillows were fresh and clean as was the cleanliness of the cabin itself. Our host and communication were outstanding- friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, inquiring if we got in okay and if there was any maintenance items we found that needed attention. Check-in was so smooth as was check out. The cabin is located near many amenities and access to unlimited trails for hiking, biking or swimming. If you did not want to prepare meals, there were MANY restaurants and fast food to select from only a minute down the road. Being the cabin is dog friendly, I would like to add, it did NOT smell like “dog.” Overall, this cabin offered everything we were looking for: relaxation, comfort and convenience to the trails and hiking spots. We were very pleased with our experience and would definitely return in the future.
